It turns out Panzer Elite troops are extremely generous to each other, they share a lot more veterancy than I first expected...
Share radius for all Panzer Elite infantry and vehicles is 35.

The unit that did the kill gets 100% Vet-Exp for itself.
For every point that unit receives:
The 1st nearest unit receives 50%. (1/2)
The 2nd nearest unit receives 25%. (1/4)
The 3rd nearest unit receives 12.5%. (1/8)
The 4th nearest unit receives 6.25%. (1/16)
The 5th nearest unit receives 3.125%. (1/32)
The 6th nearest unit receives 1.5625%. (1/64)
...
...

As you can see, just having a second unit nearby increases the amount of shared Veterancy by half.
Having four units in total will result in 87.5% Vet-Exp shared among the units.
The bigger the blob, the faster they level up, the happier you are, but once you reach 5+ units the additional benefits drop significantly.

It is also impossible to achieve 100% share due to some mathematical limitation which I am sure has a specific name but can’t remember…
